Wood block letters = Inspiration
Johnson’s Backyard Garden, a small family-run farm in east Austin with the best monthly newsletter.
I came across this clever shadow-play sculpture, but unfortunately it’s image is unattributed. Does anyone recognize this work? I’d love to find more.
Optical illusions, good ol’ fashioned visually baffling fun.

Vivian Meyer, a Chicago nanny, took more than 100,000 photos she never shared. This story & her work take my break away.

story of my life
This is one of the best feelings ever if: you are staying up and making something because you feel like it and you just got really into it and creating something fills a void/relieves stress you didn’t know you had and you just got carried away and it’s great fun and you know it’s going to rock your socks off when it is done.
This is one of the worst feelings ever if: you have to finish it for school the next day.
Tonight, alas, is the latter.
Great/Awful.
Great: When I start a personal design project at 10pm and suddenly it’s 3am. Awful: When I start a school project at 10pm and crit is in 16 hours.
